Are you Drowning in a sea of sameness Teaching Yoga?

This post is for Yoga Teachers… It won’t be for every Yoga teacher and some may have your business heads totally aligned and thriving as a Yoga Teacher. Well done and I take my hat off to you!!

But for those who are still burning out as a Yoga teacher, running many Classes to earn a very small income, wanting to refresh your Yoga business, set yourself apart from the rest by running Cacao Ceremonies, Circles, Retreats, Goddess Wisdom sessions in Circle and adding to your Yoga Classes by adding the Elemental Transmissions though your Yoga Classes or run Yoga Classes specifically for Women, then this is for you…

I started teaching Yoga 12 Years ago, I was already a Holistic Therapist, and had a mobile Hairdressing round. I loved my Training and felt fully committed to teaching Yoga and at the end of my training decided I would make it my full time work.

What I hadn’t realized was, that to teach Yoga Full time was bloody hard work! At one point teaching 16 Classes a week, plus continuing with hairdressing and Holistic work just to pay my rent and support myself as a single parent. There wasn’t much competition then, now there are Yoga Teachers in every village and town pretty much!

One of the main themes of Yoga is Non Competition, so when I was called out for setting up classes in my own new Studio by a local Student teacher, it shocked me to my core! How dare I set up classes and interfere with her 2 year business plan was barked at me, calling me out for daring to set up in competition with her, even naming me as a Spiritual gremlin in one of her posts. When had teaching Yoga become such a cut throat and competitive business?

I am sure, and hope this is in the minority, but it certainly doesn’t help the name of Yoga and it’s beautiful love based values!

I have always been of the mindset that our vibration is key, we attract the people who need our energy, so how can there be competition when we all vibrate differently? What appeals to one student, won’t appeal to someone else.

How can we Trust that the students who are meant for us will find us no matter what? It’s difficult, when we turn up to a class with 2 people to keep our faith and keep going, but you need to know that what you offer is so needed right now.

So, how can we stand out in the crowd and offer individual teachings for our Students? Stand apart and be individual in our offerings, Increase our income as Yoga Teachers and Therapists?

Personally, I added in Women’s Circles to my Classes, which then led to Retreats, these offerings allowed me to increase my income.

I am now offering Training in Elemental Yoga for Women, holding space, running Circles, adding Spiritdance (a closed eye movement practice) and also Cacao Ceremony & Circle Training.

Adding fresh energy to your offerings can increase your income dramatically! Many of my Trainees have gone straight from my Training’s into holding space,in person and online for up to 20 people at a time, making a difference in the World and sharing their passion as Teachers and Space holders.

I have had amazing feedback that attending my Training’s have changed their lives and their business!

Did you know,I also offer Mentoring to help support you in transitioning your business and visioning your dream business?.

So, if you are ready to stand out in the crowd as a Yoga Teacher! Rescue yourself from drowning in a sea of competitive sameness, I can’t wait to inspire you and share my Years of knowledge and wisdom with you!

With all my love.

Andrea xx
