Embrace the Stillness of Wintering.

Hello lovely ladies, I hope you are well.

Bloody Hell!! It's been crazy since we landed back from our hols, infant illness, hospital visits, grandma duties, and culminating in myself & partner also going down with the C virus!

Mind you 3 weeks beach & bed rest has certainly left me well rested and full of creativity and inspiration for December!

The urge is to slow down and hibernate, while life is calling us into action to plan for the biggest festivities of the Year Christmas!

So welcome to the maddest season of the Year. December is so full of polarity!

My invitation! Simplify!

A few Years ago I stopped sending Christmas cards, I much prefer to donate the money to charity, save the trees, and me an awful lot of time and stress.

Cutting down on presents - one per person, and immediate family only, and turning to plain brown paper and string wrapping for ease has made my Christmas a whole lot easier and more organic in lots of ways, it also takes the pressure off the fam and friends too.

Embrace the Stillness of Wintering.

Embrace the Stillness: Wintering with Intention.

As winter's embrace draws near, let's take this time to slow down and honour the season of rest and reflection. This week, I invite you to find stillness and reconnect with your inner self.

Tip of the Week:

Create a cosy corner for meditation or journaling. Add candles, blankets, and your favourite comforting items to enhance the space.

Yoga Pose:

Child's Pose (Balasana) - A gentle pose to calm the mind and relax the body. Slows down the parasympathetic nervous system, child's pose can calm the mind, reducing anxiety and fatigue inviting us to turn inward. Creates a circle of energy with the earth and all chakras and fosters humility and a childlike innocence. A great posture for seed planting. Liken yourself to a seed planted in the Earth waiting for the right moment to emerge.

Essential Oil Ritual:

Diffuse lavender or chamomile essential oils to create a peaceful atmosphere.

Lavender ~ My gift to you is contemplation & calm communication and intuition.

A high vibrational oil and a concentrated form of sun energy, lavender transforms sun energy and invites us to vibrate at a higher level. Lavender helps us to communicate authentically, to create deeper connection, as well as enhancing our intuition, call her in to support your natural gifts at this time.

Mantra “It’s ok to pause, rest and just be”.

Journal Prompt:

Reflect on the past year.

What are you grateful for?

What lessons have you learned?

Warm winter wishes, Andrea xx
