Good morning lovelies, in light of our Queens death yesterday, here are a few contemplations I found for you to connect with the Queen within you today.

What is the Queen archetype?

The Queen archetype is the symbol of wholeness and a woman's full potential as a deeply initiated woman. Her essential nature is pure awareness, alive and awake in an inhabited, ensouled, woman's body.

The Queen emerges roughly between the ages of 40 and 60 years old, so she’s most active between the Mother and Crone phase. She no longer wants to mother and nurture others as a full time job, but instead wants to rule her kingdom (her life).

The Queen’s children are older or have flown the nest completely OR she had birthed a career or business, it’s out of the infancy stage and has gained momentum. She has new found sovereignty and it feels GOOD.

The Queen begins has more personal freedom and usually questions what she wants to do with the rest of her life.

What does it mean to have Queen energy?

Queen energy is full of power, confidence, and femininity. Queens are humble leaders, clear communicators, and advocates for self-love and self-resilience.

Queen Archetype Characteristics & Traits

The Queen archetype is also a very capable leader, whether in the home environment or at work.

In her friendship group she is likely to be the leader of the group, organising social gatherings and determining the pattern of social discourse.

As a leader she is benevolent, compassionate and inclusive, keen to be receptive to the needs of her subjects.

She rules with kindness but also with a firmness and strength, not tolerating those who act against her and seeking retribution against those who invoker her wrath.

Her people understand her strengths and respond to them with loyalty and respect.
