INGREDIENTS
Serves 1
1 tbsp fresh root ginger, finely grated (unpeeled if organic)
Tip of a tsp Cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Juice of 1⁄2 lime
Dash of maple syrup (optional)
Pinch of himilayan salt (optional)METHOD
Put the grated ginger, turmeric and black pepper in a pan with 600 ml of water, warm through, stir and leave to brew for 10 minutes.
Strain and add the lime juice with a dash of maple syrup and a pinch of himilayan salt if using.
