Relaxation…the key to everything!!!

Taking time for a daily Relaxation is key to high energy levels, good digestion and nourishing you.
It is deeply healing and balancing. Relaxation leaves us feeling connected, aligned with our intuition and inner wisdom, and we just don’t do enough of it!!
As Women we often feel guilty if we take time to rest during the day, it is not only beneficial, but also crucial to our health and wellbeing.
Why is it so important?
Our body is a vessel for energy, it has within it 72000 Nadis or energy pathways that supply us with Prana, or life force. When we are tense, worried and stressed, our energy channels get blocked, I like to imagine a kink in a hose pipe, we get stagnated energy build up which can lead to dis-ease and low energy levels.
To be the fullest expression of who we came here to be, our life force must be at its optimum and flowing freely. Slowing down is key, and adding daily relaxation, even though it may feel counterproductive, helps us to be more productive, and prevents burn out, feeling overwhelmed, and procrastination. It really is a win win.
See if you can fit in a 10minute break into your day, even just closing your eyes, taking a breath, and consciously relaxing each part of your body from your feet upwards.
If you are lucky enough to work from home, maybe 20 minutes in the morning or after lunch would be possible, you will see an instant difference in your energy levels if you can make it a habit.
