Hello Lovely Wild Woman.
I hope you are amazing today!
Ooh this is one of my absolute faves!
Turmeric milk at bedtime is a definite Wild Woman support.
This beautiful combo helps with inflammation, sore muscles, nervous anxiety and generally nourishes you form the inside as you sleep!
Ayurveda encapsulates a number of natural treatments and remedies that can benefit us in a variety of ways in our Wild Woman years.
One such remedy is the combination of Ghee and Turmeric in Milk.
Drinking a warm glass of milk before going to bed is often recommended by Ayurveda but if you add ghee and turmeric to it, the combination will become even more effective.
Those who often deal with stomach issues can benefit the most from this magical combination of Ghee & Turmeric with Milk.
From aiding digestion to strengthening immunity and treating constipation to enhancing metabolism, Ghee-Turmeric-Milk combination offers a long list of benefits.
The combination of ghee and milk provides a natural and deep moisturization to the skin.
This combination is super beneficial for Wild Woman dry skin, especially during winter.
I also find this bedtime tonic to help with a settled nights sleep!
Another of those pesky symptoms of Wild Woman phase!
Regular consumption of Ghee and Milk will not only make your skin glow from within but can also help in clearing up spots and blemishes.
A change in season from summer to winter brings along with it common cold and cough.
Get instant relief from cold and cough by drinking a warm glass of Ghee-Turmeric-Milk before going to bed.
It will reduce the feeling of discomfort, soothe a sore throat and even significantly reduce the intensity of cough.
Add 1 glass of milk to a pan.
Add 1 pinch of turmeric powder to it and whisk well.
Add a teaspoon of Ghee, a pinch of cinnamon and one star anise and a grind of black pepper.
You can also add a couple of cardamom pods.
Bring the milk to a boil, let it simmer for one more minute.
Pour the milk into a glass and drink it warm.
I also like to grate some fresh nutmeg on the top as nutmeg is also a sedative so helps with sleep!
